PHP Web Application Developer

XJEEM Networks Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a capable PHP Web Application Developer to design, build and improve business portals, SaaS applications, integrations and internal tools.

You will work with product and operations teams to translate requirements into reliable software. The role covers backend development, database design, responsive interfaces, security controls, testing, deployment support and maintenance of existing applications.

We value readable code, careful reasoning, tenant and data isolation, secure defaults and practical delivery over unnecessary complexity.

• Develop and maintain PHP 8.2+ applications using clean, modular and testable code.
• Design MariaDB or MySQL schemas, indexes, migrations and safe data-update scripts.
• Build responsive interfaces with semantic HTML, modern CSS and JavaScript.
• Create and consume REST-style APIs and integrate approved third-party services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, CSRF protection and secure session handling.
• Use prepared statements, output escaping, validation and safe upload controls throughout the application.
• Investigate bugs, review logs, reproduce failures and deliver permanent fixes.
• Write installation, upgrade and rollback instructions for development and production environments.
• Collaborate through Git, code review, issue tracking and structured release notes.
• Support XAMPP development and Linux or Plesk production deployments.
• Protect customer, employee and tenant data by following least-privilege and isolation principles.
• Continuously improve performance, usability, maintainability and operational visibility.

• Strong PHP, object-oriented programming and SQL skills.
• Practical experience with MariaDB or MySQL, transactions, indexes and relational modelling.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive layouts.
• Experience building secure authentication and role-based administration workflows.
• Understanding of HTTP, routing, sessions, cookies, file uploads and web-server configuration.
• Working knowledge of Git and disciplined source-control practices.
• Ability to read an existing codebase and preserve prior functionality while extending it.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, Nginx, Plesk or cloud hosting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with automated testing, background jobs, email delivery and API integrations is preferred.
• Clear written communication and the ability to document technical changes.
